However\, there is a backlog in the production and dissemination of disruptive innovations. As a rule\, it is not possible to know in advance which innovations will have disruptive qualities. But if you don’t take the plunge\, you can’t end up right at the top. And this is where the Agency for Jump Innovations (SprinD) comes in. \nThe DIHK (German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) has examined the companies’ views on the subject of radical disruptive innovation in more detail in a study and has held 70 discussions with highly innovative entrepreneurs for this purpose. The good news is that there is a highly innovative section of the SME sector that has already “jumped” several times without bringing this to the attention of the general public\, while their global customers are well aware of it. \nOn December 10\, 2020\, from 15:00 – 17:00\, we will not only present the results of the DIGITAL study\, but also open a virtual stage to radically innovative “novelties” such as Nobel Prize winner Prof. Stefan Hell. DESCRIPTION:In 2019 Germany celebrated the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. But instead of a large community feeling\, an increasing individualization of society can be observed. With the beginning of the “school* strikes for climate” in August 2018 though\, the base of a collective sense of togetherness can be sensed again in the country. A movement that has found followers and support worldwide across the bounds of nationality\, gender\, ethnicity\, religion\, and age. The global school strike\, initiated by one sixteen-year-old schoolgirl from Stockholm\, is currently rocking world politics and thus acting as a catalyst for a long overdue debate on global climate policy. It brings up a painful subject and it’s about  defining goals\, making decisions\, and radically changing course. The clock is ticking. Time is against us. Planet Earth and its inhabitants are about to eradicate themselves. \nThe motto of the 14th re:publica Berlin 2020 is: ASAP (as soon as possible).\nOn three days in May 2020 we will address the real and felt urgency of our current global and digital society. \n\nASAP means: not tomorrow\, the day after tomorrow or in a year\, but NOW – and as quickly as possible!\nASAP symbolizes: a spirit of optimism\, action and movement\nASAP must: exert pressure\, generate stress\, be uncomfortable\nASAP stands for: urgency\, impatience\, and power\nASAP promotes: imprecision\, addiction\, and social acceleration\nASAP means: immediacy\, satisfaction\, and convenience\nASAP should: engage\, mobilize\, and shake up\nASAP is: as soon as possible!
