Main Responsibilities:

  • Funding Management and Grants: Oversee funding control, application, and management of grants from various sources including the EU, federal, state, and local governments, as well as other organizations
  • Project Coordination and Financing: Coordinate and manage funding programs, particularly in areas relevant to Volucap’s operations such as technological innovation and development
  • Tender and Award Procedures: Conduct electronic tender processes, coordinate bidder inquiries, perform formal bid evaluations, and create award proposals
  • Bid Review and Utilization: Review and assess bids in collaboration with relevant departments, ensuring proper documentation and statistical analysis
  • Contract Management: Handle post-award contract fulfillment issues and ensure compliance with contract terms
  • Payment Processing: Manage payment transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Accounting: Record and manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank transactions, including cost center accounting
  • VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Payroll Accounting: Oversee payroll accounting and ensure timely and accurate salary payments

Requirements

  • Effective in administrative functions with a high sense of responsibility
  • Independent and communicative working style
  • Knowledge of grant law and funding mechanisms
  • Experience in funding management or administrative roles
  • Strong communication skills and reliability
  • First relevant professional experience in financial accounting, preferably in the media industry
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as very good knowledge and confident use of at least one common accounting software
