XR is a great way to educate prospects about the full capabilities of a company’s product or service. Deutsche Telekom, the leading telecommunications provider, relied on XR technology for this event.
For XR Day, a unique experience was created that allowed viewers to see the speaker as a hologram through mixed reality glasses to create a more engaging and practical experience.
The clarity of the image makes it look as if the hologram is actually on stage. This technology definitely has the potential to catapult the possibilities of Mixed Reality once again into undreamed-of spheres.

Volucap is proud to provide Deutsche Telekom the first mixed reality multidevice volucap live stage presentation. During presentation, Sven von Aschwege left the stage and his Volucap took over the discussion, answering several questions from the pannelists. The audience was able to follow the mixed reality extension via live tracked camera view on several screens and different volumetric display technologies like mixed reality devices.
