The event brings together experts from technology, research, and policymaking to discuss the opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence. As AI continues to transform society, the conversation will explore its potential to address global challenges while also examining concerns surrounding disinformation, surveillance, and ethical responsibility. A key focus will be how Europe can foster innovation while ensuring appropriate regulation and democratic values.
Alongside Sven Bliedung von der Heide (Volucap), the panel features Aimee van Wynsberghe from the University of Bonn, a leading expert in AI ethics, and Axel Voss, Member of the European Parliament and member of the AI Act Committee. The discussion will be moderated by Sven Sappelt of Studio Bonn.
Drawing on Volucap’s experience in volumetric capture, digital humans, and immersive technologies, Sven will contribute insights into the evolving relationship between AI, media technologies, and the future of digital interaction.
