At MWC Shanghai 2021, our partner Nreal announced that its “Nreal Light” mixed reality glasses will launch in Europe and the US in the second quarter of 2021. Currently the device, which is already available in Japan and South Korea, is being demonstrated at exhibitions internationally using our showcase “tagesschau 2025”. “Nreal Light” will also be shipped to consumers with our showcase “tagesschau 2025” pre-installed.
Together with the tagesschau, Volucap has created a worldwide unique case that not only demonstrates the usefulness of new technologies in the news field, but also paves the way for future news broadcasts. In combination with the Nreal Light’s mixed reality technology, this enables a completely new experience. Thanks to our tracking procedures, eye contact can be maintained even when viewing positions change.
