Volucap’s Deepfake Technology in Sky’s Original Deepfake-Show

Volucap created a Deepfake of Dieter Hallervorden for the new Sky show format,
“Me & Myself,” to create a younger version of himself!
This is made possible by using Volucap’s LIVE Deepfake Technology, which facilitates real-time video generation and manipulation through deepfakes. Comprehensive material from the late ’70s to the early ’90s was gathered for this, including old performances, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and other sources. From these, shots were selected where Dieter Hallervorden’s face was clearly visible from various angles and lighting positions. Using the final training data, a digital representation of Dieter Hallervorden from 1987 was crafted, which the real Hallervorden encounters in “Me & Myself”.
