The Digital Hub Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy hosted the virtual conference Click & Connect on June 2, 2021.
The one-day conference brought together the entire ecosystem of the initiative as well as interested parties from the start-up scene, digital economy, science and politics. There were exciting insights into the best cases of the initiative, keynotes by renowned experts and the opportunity to participate in innovation workshops.
From the MediaTech Hub Potsdam Kosmos, Sven Bliedung von der Heide (CEO at Volucap) participated with a best practice session on “The Evolution of Volumetric Capture”. In the interactive session, Sven Bliedung von der Heide explained what opportunities volumetric technology opens up for media and industry now and in the future.
Andrea Wickleder, hub manager of MTH Potsdam, discussed the best practice event “XR in Industries” together with CODE_n (de:hub future.industries) and the IoT + Network (de:hub IoT). The supra-regional event networked actors across regions and was intended to contribute to knowledge transfer.
In addition, Erdinç Koç (Head of MediaTech Hub Accelerator) from the MTH team gave a workshop on fundraising. Among other things, Erdinç Koç dealt with the question of how start-ups can find the right financing model for their own business.
