Mobile Volucap Studio Opens Its Doors

Potsdam, 09.07.2026: For the first time, we opened the doors to our mobile volumetric capture studio, inviting visitors to experience our portable production pipeline firsthand.

During the workshop, we showcased the latest developments in volumetric capture and Gaussian Splatting, discussed current production workflows, and explored where immersive media is heading next with researchers, creators, and industry professionals.

We also had two exciting productions. We captured a cat for a feature film production and world-renowned breakdance group from Flying Steps Academy for an immersive experience in our upcoming 3D browser. The browser will launch later this year, allowing users to explore high-quality volumetric content on VR headsets and mobile devices.
